I have just returned from Japan and am responding to your beautiful photo, which was apparently taken in Japan, with a photo I took at the entrance of the Tokyo Zoo. A beautiful Asian swallowtail butterfly.

Yes, but only urban areas, Kyoto, Osaka. Did not have much time as my main focus was on Taiwan, where I spent 5 weeks. But will definately travel again to Japan, especially to the country side.

@walli I cycled around Taiwan in 1993. I’d definetely go back there.
lots to see in Japan too. I’m sure you’d have a great time.
